Miracles do happen with nature's help

How can a person diagnosed with cancer heal?

Forgive! Do what brings you joy! Laugh a lot and love!

If you or a loved one has recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer, there are options this person has which can lead to a miracle of healing and getting completely well. Keep in mind that no matter what type of treatment a person is getting it is always the cells in the body doing the actual healing. The therapy can remove obstacles to allowing the cells to heal the body.

Here's one example: One Reiki Master, I think it was Hawayo Takata, would give a person Reiki every day for at least two weeks and teach the whole family to give the person Reiki also. In Eugene, OR a lot of Reiki practitioners would donate Reiki treatments to people with life-threatening health problems like cancer. We'd set up a schedule of volunteers, so people could take turns filling the days. I still hear reports from time to time about an older lady we worked on several years ago, when she had lung cancer. She was doing medical treatment at the same time (Reiki can be done alonside any other treatment). She was determined to live. She'd walk w/ her oxygen tank round after round in her apartment complex. She beat the cancer, though she's had some other health problems to deal with since.

Through my hobby of learning about alternative therapies, I found that there are various theories on what causes cancer. There are even different theories of what happens when a person has cancer. And there are many different types of treatment for cancer. Certain behaviors appear to improve the chance of survival.

Some of the causes for cancer are said to be stress, smoking (especially for lung cancer) and living or working in an environment, which has cancer causing agents. There are some other causes which are not commonly known: According to Regehr Clark, Ph.D., N.D. chemicals in common house hold goods which allow parasites to go through all of their life stages within the human body are found to be present, when a person has cancer. Removal of these “resulted in quick recovery, […] from cancers of all kinds.”(XIV). Jethro Kloss gives as cause “[t]hrough chronic auto-intoxication, constipation, and the inactivity of all the organs of elimination – lungs, liver, kidneys, skin, and bowels – the system becomes poisoned, and the poisons accumulate around the weakest organs or where the body has been injured […].” (452) Louise L. Hay gives as the probable metaphysical cause for cancer “Deep hurt. Longstanding resentment. Deep secret or grief eating away at the self. Carrying hatreds.” (13) and gives as “New Thought Pattern” “I lovingly forgive and release all of the past. I choose to fill my world with joy. I love and approve of myself.”(13)

Cancer can affect many different body parts and there are various types of cancer, some slow growing, some fast, some easy to cure, some seemingly impossible. Cancer is bad growth of unhealthy tissue, which can take over the healthy tissue. A cancerous tumor in an organ can obstruct the organ and disable it from doing its job. For example, cancer in the lungs can make it hard to breathe; cancer in the gall duct can hinder the gall fluid from flowing through; cancer in the pancreas or stomach can make it hard to eat and keep food down. A person with cancer may or may not have any pain. Cancer can also cause depression. (Healthline, Symptoms)

Treatments for cancer differ greatly. For terminal cancer Western medicine may suggest surgery to relieve obstructions (in terminal cancer it is usually impossible to remove all of the cancer through surgery), and/or chemotherapy or radiation to improve the quality of life. A diagnosis of “terminal” implies that the doctor does not believe that the person can survive. There are many other treatments though, which not only can cause healing from cancer, but also an overall improvement in health. There are various herbs, which have been known to shrink tumors, for example horsetail (used in a poultice)(Treben, 58 - 60), plantain (Treben, 50) and calendula (Treben, 40-42) and Swedish bitter (a drink made from a number of herbs)(Treben, 61-69). Rector suggests a “concentrated program [...]”, where a macrobiotic “diet, enemas, vitamin therapy and herbs all need to be coordinated for there to be remission” (79 - 80). Anita Backhaus recommends raw foods with yoghurt and/or buttermilk […] combined with water therapies (76). Caroline Myss says: "[...]the single most powerful thing you can do to your biology is forgiveness." My Soaring Crane Qigong teacher’s cancer cleared up, after she started practicing Qigong. Prayer circles appear to have aided in the healing of some people, as well as healing with laying on of hands. It is important for the person to keep weight on or gain it back, if they've lost too much already. It's just as important to keep cleaning out and have enough bowel movements. Many sources agree on this, as well as that cutting out cigarette smoking, recreational drugs, alcohol, coffee, soda pops and sugar as well as drinking plenty of water are vital to the person’s improvement of health.

The chances of survival seem to improve with a combined holistic approach. In a clinic, which used to be in Mexico just across the border, people with all kinds of cancers in various stages got well due to a combination of holistic therapies involving body, mind, emotions and spirit, including journal writing, walking in the fresh air every day, sun bathing nude, and eating a healthy diet. A leading cancer authority said “the people who are more likely to survive are the ones who fight for their life and take charge of their own healing. You have to be willing to fire your doctor, if necessary." During a lecture on cancer in Eugene, OR more than 10 years ago, Dr. med. Bernie Siegel said in order to choose which therapies (whether western or alternative or a combination) to use, the cancer patient should draw a picture of the therapy with their left hand, the intuitive side. From the picture, they can then see if the specific therapy seems threatening or healing to the patient.

So, if you or a loved one is diagnosed with terminal cancer, don’t despair, start researching. You are likely to find a combination of therapies that will agree with you. Don’t make a feeble effort though, if you want to live. Put your whole heart into it.
